Project Overview
In Ekehaar, a village in Drenthe, the Netherlands, a unique initiative was launched to address the invasive plant species Fallopia japonica, also known as the Asian Knotweed.
This involved the use of ''village pigs'' (dorpsvarkens), specifically the Bentheim Black Pied pigs, which happily consume the harmful plant species, benefiting local farmers and their lands. I was tasked with designing an information board in the area to provide details about this innovative project.
